Sarah has been dancing for 14 years. She was a 4 year member of the Crosby Cougar Stars, a 2 year dance officer, serving as Colonel her senior year. She attended Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Sciences. She is currently a science teacher at Crosby High School. Sarah is knowledgeable about the body, loves to dance, and has a passion and heart for teaching and for young people. She taught at ADA this past year, and is so excited to be part of the CDA staff!
Shaleigh has been dancing since the age of 4. She attended studio until the age of 14. In 7th grade she became a member of the middle school dance team at Crosby. Her 8th grade year she served in a leadership role as a "Star Leader". She is currently a member of the Crosby High School Cougar Stars and holds the dance officer position of First Lieutenant. She is currently enrolled in classes at the newly opened CDA. Shaleigh is very passionate about dance and loves to show that through her students and CDA family.
Lauren White Mangum
Lauren was a member of the Blinn College dance team for two years, as well as served as the dance captain for one year. She then transitioned to Stephen F. Austin State University where she was a member and captain of the SFA dance team. After dancing for SFA for two years, she then became the SFA assistant director for one year.
Fun/interesting fact: She does not like any types of chocolate!
Brittany has been dancing since the 4th grade. In 6th grade she began attending ADA and was on the competition team for one year. In 8th grade she became a CMS Star Steppers Dance Team member where she served in a leadership role as a “Star Leader”. Currently, she is a member of the Crosby High School Cougar Stars and holds the dance officer position of Junior Lieutenant. She actively takes classes at the new studio, CDA. One of Brittany's major goals is to always have a servant heart. “God is first, others are second, and I am third.”

Mrs. Rayburn attended the University of Houston's main campus to major in music and minor in dance, but after 1 year she pursued her passion for health and wellness- she graduated magna cum laude in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and minors in psychology and dance. She also danced with the Cougar Dolls Dance Team her freshmen year before entering the U of H Dance Department.

Stacy is an elementary school teacher by day (just finished her 15th year) and one of ADA’s Office Managers in the evenings. Stacy and her husband of 13 years, Brian, have both lived in Kingwood for over 37 years and have 2 beautiful girls. Her girls, Addison Grace and Emerson Claire are both students at ADA and dance on the Competition and Production teams. She loves to watch her girls dance and treats all the other dancers like they are her own.
She also has 3 other family members named Jack, Bella and Gunner who are very spoiled dogs.

Dr. Poe Prochaska
ADA Special Movers Instructor
Dr. Poe Prochaska earned her doctorate in Occupational Therapy & has been working as a therapist in school & hospital settings for 20 years. She currently works for Humble ISD & Memorial Hermann Hospital. Dr. P. is passionate about special needs students AND dance, thus she is the instructor for the newest class at ADA: Special Movers Dance. In addition to her education in health science, she also studied ballet, tap, jazz, & pointe for 14 years, taught dance for 6 years, & even studied modern dance in college. This makes her perfect for teaching this class that she designed herself! We welcome this mother of 4 (2 of them ADA dancers), avid runner, & art lover to our ADA Staff Family!

Janna and her husband of 26 years, David, are empty-nesters! They have lived in Crosby for 26 years and are the owners of Patriot Transit LLC and Patriot Pipe Services. Janna has 5 kids, Chris, Katy, Sean, Taylor & Andi, (4 of which graduated from Crosby High School)! Her youngest daughter is a junior at TCU in Ft. Worth. Janna also has 6 grandchildren: Kindall, Gavyn, Mackenzie, Gunner, Gracee Sean, and Saylor.

Heather developed her technical skills as a dedicated officer of her competitive dance team as a youth, resulting in winning several National Championship titles. She later developed her skills as a teacher of recreational classes and director of competitive teams for 10+ years.
After graduating Cum laude with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, she obtained certification to teach Dance and Physical Education, among other subjects, in Texas public schools. As an educator, Heather pioneered and directed the first award-winning middle school dance team in her school district, in addition to teaching six academic Science classes. The program Heather developed set a precedent for other middle school-level dance teams in the district on which to base their programming.
Heather enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Dan, family, friends, and dog, Roxy. She is so excited to share her passion for dance with the Crosby & Atascocita communities!

Tara has been coaching gymnastics for 8 years: recreational, competitive gymnastics and tumbling classes. She competed on a level 9 gymnastics team and achieved level 8 acrobatic. Tara is also USASF certified.
Tina fell in love with dance at the age of 3 and has been a dance educator for the past 24 years. In addition to teaching at ADA & CDA, she also teaches dance & fine arts at Crosby Middle School. During college, Tina was a Kilgore Rangerette and Swingster, and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Sam Houston State University. After studying on a scholarship to Steps on Broadway in New York City, Tina earned her Master of Fine Arts degree, also from SHSU. Ms. Tina has been on staff with UDA-Universal Dance Association and American Dance/Drill Team teaching dance camps, technique and seminars to all ages. She was the director for several high school and collegiate teams. Tina is also active in community theatre.
Colleen is currently an officer on the Atascocita High School Patriette Drill Team. She has been dancing for 13 years, 9 of which have been competitive. Dancing is her passion, and she would love to share it with your wonderful children!

Andreea was trained in the Vagonova style of ballet, which is known for athleticism
& artistry. She trained for 8 years at the Russian School of Ballet. More coming soon!
CDA Adult Fitness Director
Marliana has always been a very active individual through sports and fitness. In college she completed a BA in Psychology. She decided she could use her knowledge in Psychology and fitness to help people live healthier lives and feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally about themselves. In 2010 she became a certified Zumba instructor and started teaching her first classes at the Airforce Base in Minot, ND. This position soon led to her being awarded the contract for all fitness programs at this military base. Marliana worked with active duty military and their families to ensure they were offered great fitness classes for over 3 years. She later moved onto Washington State where she eventually opened and operated her own Fitness Studio for a little over 2 years. While in Washington Marliana furthered her fitness education by gaining her Personal Training License. After selling her business in Spring of 2017 she relocated to Texas to be close to family and warner weather. While only in Texas for a short period she has already established fitness programs in Crosby, TX and is loving her new home. Marliana currently holds 8 different fitness certifications/licenses and is actively personal training clients and teaching a variety of classes such as, Zumba, Kickboxing, Step, Cycle, Barre, and more. Marliana is always looking for ways to help people feel better about themselves, so do not be afraid to give a class a try and see how great you might feel.
An interesting fact about her is she loves her fur babies, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 horses.
ADA Office Manager
Mary has been happily married to Tim for 18 years. Together they have 5 kids (2 of which competitively dance with ADA). Mrs. Mary serves as a 1st grade teacher with Humble ISD. She has been with ADA since the doors opened 5 years ago. She loves to help guide parents and students with taking the class or classes that best fit them, when they walk through our front door!
Hunter started gymnastics at the age of 2 and continued competitively for 12 years until she stopped at level 9. After that she found a love for dance and competed for the last 5 years, 2 of that with Mrs. Rayburn at ADA. Hunter has taught pre-school to first grade acro, and acro 1 and 2 for the past year and can't wait to teach more! A fun fact about her is that her first job was as a kennel worker for a veterinary clinic.
Anthony J. Davis is a dancer and choreographic artist from Houston, Texas who began dancing at the age of six years old at N-Motion Dance Studio, as well as the Lake Houston Performing Arts Center. He holds a BFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University where he was a departmental scholarship recipient. Anthony has been the recipient of scholarships of summer intensive programs through the Ailey School in New York, and also the Gus Giordano Dance School in Chicago. Currently, Anthony is a teacher and choreographer at Atascocita & Crosby Dance Academies and also on staff with the Universal Dance Association. With UDA, he has had the honor of teaching dancers from across the country.
